| This is not the way free agents are going to work. Teams will bid on players, and the team with the best bid will get the player. Remember to watch your salary cap. | |

| Yep. Everybody, I told y'all before to make your rosters with salary caps on it before all the trades. Go to simsports.net, and copy and paste your salary cap salaries here. Then, edit it around with the players you have acquired. That way, we can see who has what. I'm thinking of setting the cap at $150 million. | |

| Yes, after the draft. One more rule: Unless you post your salary cap in your team's forum, until you do so, you may not participate in Free Agency. | |

| i was kind of thinking about the whole salary cap thing
I understand that we need to do something so that we can sign free agents but this would get complicated
Maybe we should figure out a different way...kind of like a waiver system...like the worst teams have the first shot to get someone...and people could even Trade their waiver spot
For example:
The raiders have the first shot but the Bucs really want Al Wilson...the Raiders could trade their spot to get the first free agent for a pick or player or whatever...but each team can only sign someone when its their waiver spot...what do you guys think?
But for example the Raiders can only get one player at first and cant sign another player untill the Colts have a chance at someone...but teams could pass up their spot if they have no interest in free agents | |

| No, because then, they'd get the best players in the draft AND free agency. There's not enough to go around. Just do the bidding thing. It's easier, more fun, and works out better. | |
