teams place alot of value on potential though. upside is huge. no one is going to want a player that is already leveled out on their ability. vince young was the same way and worked out. i believe upside is a pretty big risk but its what alot of teams look at

Vince Young is overated.

Bush probably COULD get 1000 yards recieving and rushing.
Of course, the Diet Pepsi machine would then have to have gotten 5000 yards rushing, receiving, and passing first.

you are saying that strictly because of his passing numbers. it was his rookie year and for everyone thinking he wasnt going to adjust to the nfl game he sure as hell did good. He single handedly won games. He takes a team on his back hes a leader and great guy to have on a team. If he wins games in my eyes that is better than any stats can show

dont understand what you said there, but Young is better than Leinart

i honestly think he isnt. leinart is SURROUNED by huge names and talent. if youre on a team with boldin, fitz, james youre bound to be good. but if he were placed in youngs situation he wouldnt have done anything. having a qb like young took pressure off most of the titans young players like jones and troupe and scaife. he made them all better. leinart was made to look better by better players

the cards have more talent than the titans do (especially offensively, with the exception of QB's) and yet the titans had a much better record. Goes to show that with Young stepping in, hes also a much better leader than Leinart

I'm surprised nobody said anything about this.

I don't think Bush runs for over 1,000 yards this year. They have duece to eat some carries. But in this league he can certanly do it.
